Whitefish Bay High School Drama

Who are we?

Some of us enjoy singing, dancing, and acting in the spotlight. Others prefer to make the shows happen from behind the scenes, working lights, sound, and making sets. You don't have to be able to perform Shakespeare in order to make an important contribution to our shows! From audience members to Stage Managers, everyone is needed to make our productions a success. We also have a great set of leaders this year that are always available to answer any questions you may have.

Sooo... what do we actually do?

Our theatre season spans the entire school year. We present a play or musical in early November, a musical in February, and a play or musical in late May. Beyond formal produtions, the drama club also produces the school's annual Variety Show during January. In addition to these performance opportunities, the club is affiliated with the International Thespian Honor Society (Troupe 1862) which seeks to provide additional theatre experiences for students.

What's new this year?
This upcoming school year, we're excited to announce some new events, including opportunities to develop your improvisation skills and playwrighting endeavors with the guidance from smart senior students and a couple guest professionals! We'll also be featuring some of our school's creative talent at concerts throughout Milwaukee with various other fundraisers along the way. If you're interested in giving to our cause, refer to the Support Us page to see how you can help!
